I understand what it means to feel “stuck”. Throughout my years as a psychologist, I have met countless people who have done everything they believed they were supposed to do. They have pursued an education, built careers, created families and ticked the boxes they had planned for their lives, yet still find themselves feeling unfulfilled.
For me, this raised an important question: what keeps us feeling stuck, even when we appear to be doing everything right?
Sometimes, it is found in unhelpful habits and thinking patterns. At other times, it is a disconnection from our values, relationships or sense of purpose.
I am passionate about supporting people to move beyond their stuckness and towards their expansiveness, developing a life that feels purposeful, connected and fulfilling.
I was born in England, moved to Australia in 2016 and now call Newcastle home. I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology and a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology. I became a registered psychologist in Australia in 2019.
My clinical background is broad, spanning child, adolescent and family therapy, community and inpatient adult mental health, psychiatric intensive care, disability and neurodivergence supports, substance recovery and the criminal justice system.
This depth of experience allows me to meet clients where they are, whether they are navigating a crisis, moving through a period of transition or seeking a greater sense of purpose in their lives.
I am particularly passionate about Lifestyle Psychology: the understanding that mental and physical health are inseparable. Sleep, movement, nutrition, connection and values all have a role to play in our overall wellbeing.
It was this understanding that shaped the foundation of my work and led me to develop Lifestyle Psychology. Alongside evidence-based psychological care, I consider the broader circumstances that influence how a person lives and feels.
I continue to study and apply these principles so my clients can access practical tools and personalised strategies that support meaningful, sustainable change.
Importantly, I practice what I teach. Guided by my values of Compassion, Acceptance, Growth and Sustainability, I apply the same principles I share with my clients in my own life.
You will often find me recharging in nature, spending time with friends and family, pushing my limits in endurance sports or dancing at music festivals.
For me, life is not just about hard work. It is also about connection, joy and balance.
With a combination of clinical experience, curiosity and authenticity, I have created Omnia as a space where people can feel understood and receive psychological care that considers the whole person.
My approach is grounded in evidence, shaped by experience and informed by the belief that a fulfilling life is about more than simply managing what feels difficult. It is about understanding what matters to you and finding practical ways to live in alignment with it.
